Things like specialty mounts, pets, etc won't sell as well. They are both easier and harder to sell stuff on. Low population servers take up most of the servers. Mainly because of the higher amount of people that need them. Materials, herbs, veggies, and bags, sell extremely well. The odds are significantly higher and therefore a "Rare" item won't necessarily be as rare. What about a few ten-thousand? That's a high pop server. With 5 alts that doesn't seem that likely, right? What about a few thousand? That's a low pop server. This is just because of the sheer number of people. Only the rarest x-mog will even have a chance of selling. On a higher population server, gear has a 90% chance it's not going to sell. I'm on Area 52, which is mainly Horde populated. High population servers are Moonguard, Blackrock, Area 52, Illidan, Proudmoore, Stormrage, Zu'jin, and Tichondrius. That will lower as time goes by, but currently there are a lot more people playing the game.

Currently, due to the recent release of BFA most servers either read Medium, high, or full population. However, if you have War Mode on, things will be similar to a PVP server.

There are now only Normal and RP servers. War Mode is now engaged which changes things. It's important to know the difference because the techniques in this guide are different depending on the server type. Every server has a different economy, different players, and different everything pretty much. At the time I joined New Player servers were not a thing. In my time, I have been on a PVP server, a Normal server, a low pop server, and a high pop server. Two hours or so on the weekdays and three or four on the weekends.A good skill in math (Joking ), but you need to know basic percentages, problems, etc D).(I personally use my main, but I would recommend a lower level) A banker a.k.a a level ten in a capital city.A basic knowledge of the cities, classes, auctioneers/vendors, etc.A maxed character decently geared (250-350 ish).I wouldn't go for the gold though, it's pretty low and instead you can send followers on missions for the Azerite. ~Don't forget about the new mission table (whether it be in Zuldazar or Kul Tiras) for Azerite. Still, you can sell all BoE gear you receive. ~As of right now you cannot trade Azerite gear, but that is rumored to be changing soon. ~Even though everything new is selling for high amounts, don't forget about old content either! ~Prices are very high now, but that will change and the market will fluctuate. ~Don't forget about the scrapper! I'll have a dedicated section for that. People are regularly requesting C.O.D's for herbs, ore, and other items. There are a few things I'd like to note that are happening right now. So there is a ton of new content in BFA and it really is quite exciting! I have redone the entire guide for Battle for Azeroth.

So with that disclaimer in mind, let's move on! Or less demand more supply which equals lower prices. Prices on my server are going to be higher in some cases because less supply, more demand, etc. Now however, I'm on a high population server which mostly consists of Horde and adjusting accordingly. And that is what I information I initially wrote this guide upon. I used to be on a low population server, Scilla. Almost all of that depends ENTIRELY on the server as well as the population of Horde and/or Alliance. Please note that as far as pricing and specific sale prices are concerned.
